The Smartphone Buying Guide 2021-22 : What You Should Consider Buying a Smartphone

Hello Guys, When we buy a new Smartphone, we buy for different reasons and all the phones are different from each other in terms of the features. One can buy it seeing the hardware capabilities or seeing the best brand name or simply choose the inbudget smartphone. But here i will cover some more about specifications that we must know and look out before buying a new Smartphone in 2021-22.

Firstly, we must make the checklist about the specifications, our area of interest and the budget.  So here are the features, you should check while buying a phone –

1.   1. 4G/ 5G feature: When this year started, there is not any 5G mobile which is below 20000 rs. But within eight months we have come across multiple 5G phones 15000 rs to 20000 rs. You are probably going to see the 5G smartphones under 15000 rs or 10000 rs by the end of this year. 5G connectivity is still unavailable in india. Telecom Ministry has recently announced that they will be ready to auction 5G technology spectrum in the end of 2021 or start of 2022.

On asking about which phone is best in 4G or 5G, so I suggest if you are going to use smartphone 1-2 years, so you should go for 4G but if you buy a new phone after a long period of time, you should go for 5G.

2. Display (AMOLED or IPS LCD Display): AMOLED (Active Matrix Light Emiting Diode) technology uses organic compounds which produce or emit light when open to an electric current. It's a modified version of the IPS LCD display. Most likely, black colour in this display is more specified, it removes the backlight which leads to less power consumption and better image quality. AMOLED screen is seen equally from all the angles.

IPSLCD Display has Liquid Crystal Display. It has better colour reproduction which translates into the better colour accuracy and image quality. It has better sunlight visibility and longer life span than AMOLED. If you are going for IPS LCD, you should go for FHD+ IPS which is cheaper than AMOLED.

3. Battery and Fast Charging : If you talk about battery, you should genuinely prefer 4500-5000 maH battery with upto 30 Watt fast charging, which is inbudget actually.

4. RAM and ROM : There are lots of mobile phones are available in the market which are 4GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB or 8GB RAM/128GB storage. But honestly if your budget is very low, you should go for 4GB/64GB variant but if you want decent smartphone for long future uses, you must go for 6GB/128GB variant.

5. Camera : The most important feature in mobile phone that everybody wants. We should not fight for megapixels i.e. 48MP, 64MP or 108MP, but understand that 48MP or 64 MP is decent for use. We should not always go for quad camera setup in which four cameras are used but should also focus on ultra wide and main camera sensors of the mobile. If you want to know reality, Post Processing and software of the camera are more important than hardware, the example is Oneplus which uses Hasselblad cameras and its color tuning software for Natural Color Caliberation. We should also check out camera app features for more astonishing experiences.

6. Operating System(OS) or UI : Nowadays, All the OS like Funtouch OS, Oxygen OS, One UI, are already improved in terms of performances, features and experiences.

All people have different reasons to buy a new phone but my task is to guide you about your right choice.

Have The Good Electronic Dreams.
